Tax payers have had enough, they are fed up with Washington and are rising up to do something about it. Since February there have been small and large tea parties all over the United States. Come this April 15, tax day, hundreds of cities will take part in a nation-wide tea-party outcry.
We of course get this idea from the Boston Tea Party of 1773. In those days, the colonists started a revolt against unfair taxation and lies from our federal government. Does this sound familiar anyone?
Let’s hope this is at least somewhat successful. The government simply can’t keep throwing good money after the bad. When Americans get in a budget crunch, well, they have to better manage their budget. Americans don’t go borrow more money and throw it at their debt. Why? Well, it doesn’t work and it drives you into further debt.
This is all just economics 101, not rocket science. This spending out of a recession idea did not work for Europe, Japan, Argentina, or anyone else. How is it going to work for us exactly?
